What We Know So Far About the 2020 Jeep Wrangler
Set foot onto our Jeep® dealership and you’ll find several Jeep Wranglers for sale, ranging from brand new to pre-owned. For the most part, this model has remained the same over the years, but our auto experts Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM are here to show you how the 2020 Jeep Wrangler is going to be a little different.
The Jeep family has grown considerably over the past several years, with the introduction of the quirky-yet-charming Jeep Renegade and the recent release of Jeep’s first pickup in over twenty years, the Jeep Gladiator. 2020 is going to be an interesting year for Jeep models, with expanded configurations and the option of a turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
Just like previous models, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler offers two-door and four-door body types. The 2020 model shakes things up by making a Sahara trim option available in the four-door build. Base models of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler are powered by a 285 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine that enjoys greater fuel efficiency thanks to a hybrid eTorque assist system. If the V6 is a little overpowered for your tastes, you can opt instead for the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which also takes advantage of the fuel-conserving eTorque assist system. To change things up even more, the Jeep Wrangler is expected to come out with a 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel® option in the near future which will provide drivers with 260 horsepower and a heart-thumping 442 lb-ft worth of torque.
Contrary to popular belief, all of these changes don’t upset the Jeep Wrangler’s place as a top-performing off-road vehicle. The 2020 Jeep Wrangler has yet to arrive at our Excelsior Springs Jeep dealership, but as Jeep continues to roll out their facelifted flagship, you can expect it in the near future. No matter if you’re looking to purchase the brand new Jeep Wrangler, or have your interest set on something vintage, we’ll satisfy all of your Jeep-related needs at Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM.
