Our Full Review of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Jeep® has earned a reputation for its next-level SUVs, but now they’re reintroducing themselves into the realm of pickup trucks. At Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM we are just as excited as you are about the news of a Jeep pickup truck, and so far the new Jeep Gladiator is already an impressive package.
The last time Jeep had a pickup truck in their lineup was all the way back in 1992, and since then have placed their sole focus into the SUV. Now, with the introduction of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, it's clear that Jeep is taking a huge, and much anticipated, step back into the pickup truck form factor.
At first glance, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is close in style and aesthetic to Jeep’s flagship the Jeep Wrangler. Fortunately, in terms of the mechanics, drivers can expect a similarly robust layout, with base models fitted with a 3.6-liter V6 engine responsible for a heavy delivery of 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft worth of torque. That’s not to mention the 2020 Jeep Gladiator’s base towing capacity of 4,500 lbs. And yes, as can be expected from vehicles in the Jeep lineup, the Jeep Gladiator is off-road friendly, equipped with a 4x4® drivetrain that gives it a level of versatility similar to the Jeep Wrangler.
Drivers will also get to enjoy a 60” truck bed which offers plenty of room for cargo and camping gear. The Jeep Gladiator is four-door pickup, making it a perfect blend between cargo efficiency and passenger comfort. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator also comes with a full package of auto tech including Rear Park Assist and a Trailer Sway Control System to make towing easier and safer.
Needless to say our Jeep dealers at Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Excelsior Springs are incredibly excited to show you everything that the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has to offer and will give you a complete rundown of why this pickup is at the top of its class.
