Looking to take your Jeep® Wrangler off-road?
Updated: Aug 6, 2019
First thing to keep in mind is that no matter how good of a driver you may be, off-roading is a whole different world! Before venturing off the civilized streets for the wild trails, you’ll want to review your owner’s manual. Take note the appropriate times to use your Jeep 4x
4 system and when to avoid it.
Try practicing with your Jeep on narrow, steep, or wet roads on before straying too far from home. Try and get a feel for stopping, accelerating and the amount of grip your 2019 Jeep Wrangler has on various surfaces so you are prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way!
Research a few off-road locations before you head out to make sure they’re suitable for your vehicle and experience level. Also check that you’re not going to damage the natural environment with your car, which could ruin the experience for future off-roaders.
Lastly, make sure you know about all the weather conditions in your area. Pack accordingly in case you get stuck and avoid soft ground if there has been heavy rain. Driving may be a one person job but off-roading should never be a solo activity, so be sure you have someone else in the car with you and tell a third party where you two are heading!
Once you have cleaned all the mud off your vehicle, be sure to swing by our location in Excelsior Springs, MO to check out our wide inventory of 2019 Jeep Wrangler models. We can't wait to meet you.
